Shereen Abdulla is a Middle Eastern business media entrepreneur and creator economy commentator. She utilizes multi-media tools (text, audio, and video), and her objective is to humanize finance. She lives by making content digestible for brands that want to capture soulful stories worth sharing.
Prior to joining the mass media industry, Shereen spent 12 years in various parts of the financial sector. She started her career at one of the largest banks in the world (Citi) across various managerial positions. She then transitioned into management advisory to work with some of the biggest banks in the Middle East on complex technology and digital strategies. Then, she moved into a government innovation management position to lead several cycles of the largest FinTech startup program in the MENA region and coach hundreds of entrepreneurs.
Shereen graduated from the London School of Economics in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and from Columbia University in 2021 with a Master of Sciences in Technology Management. She’s based in Dubai where she produces out of Spark! Studios a leading global business media production and advisory company.
